Flowerday Laboratories (FDL) was formed in 2006.
We are a unique contract manufacturing laboratory that specializes in formulating and manufacturing Skin care, Body care, Hair Care and miscellaneous products. We have a special client service in that we service small to medium size companies with the formulation, production and launch of their new products without having to “break the bank”. It must be said however, that we also produce tonnage for other clients – so large clients are more than welcome.

Director – Glyn Flowerday
With the help of her husband Patrick, set up production in 2006 and have grown to service some well-known clients in the beauty industry. Glyn has an extensive background in Cosmetic Science, Advertising and Public Relations and is the front-lady when it comes to conceptualizing new products and new ranges for clients.
Managing Director: Patrick Flowerday
Is a pharmacist specializing in formulating and production of products. He has been involved in contract manufacturing for many years. He is a member of the Pharmaceutical Society of South Africa.
Paul Jenkins
Is our in-house attorney and financial advisor with a BCom. LLB.
Michele Magwood
Previous editor of various Women’s magazines, also previous book editor of the Sunday Times. Michele has extensive contact in the beauty world.
Dawid Britz
Cosmetic trainer and lecturer salons and beauty consultants. He also heads up design of labels, concepts and interior decorating of salons and trade shows.
Hannes Nell
Our in-house digital printer who can assist new clients with the design of their labels and promotion materials.
Specialized Laboratory Staff who have been trained in the production principles of Good Manufacturing Principles. The staff regularly attend workshops to keep up to date with trends in the cosmetic industry.
Flowerday Laboratories offers clients exceptional service with help from conceptualizing products, to choosing packaging, designing labels and in the end producing 1st class products according to the clients’ specifications.
We are members of the CTFA, Coschem, PSSA and the East Rand Chamber of Commerce.
